Captain Leger passed away from a work-related illness at the age of 57, after serving the Dieppe community for 39 years. He began his career as a volunteer firefighter in 1984, earned a permanent position as a firefighter and emergency medical technician in 1987, and was promoted to Captain in 2014.
Dieppe’s Chief Administrative Officer, Marc Melanson, made a number of changes to the City’s organizational structure earlier this year.
