Dieppe is pleased to announce that it officially received Monarch-Friendly City certification from Nature NB, in partnership with the David Suzuki Foundation. This recognition confirms the municipality’s concrete commitment to preserving monarch butterfly habitat through the implementation of 15 specific initiatives.
The City of Dieppe, in collaboration with Codiac Transpo, is continuing its efforts to introduce new buses and new routes to better meet the needs of the community.
The City of Dieppe is proud to announce the launch of a new Acadian and francophone festival: the Fricot Franco Festival. This annual event, which will take place from August 12 to 16, 2026, in the heart of downtown Dieppe, will celebrate the culture, language and vitality of La Francophonie.
Before starting any digging work, you must locate municipal pipes and other underground infrastructure that may be affected. The City of Dieppe now participates in the Info-Excavation network, a free service that manages locate requests and helps coordinate the process.
Please be advised that the regular council meeting scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026, is cancelled due to poor weather conditions. The scheduled items will be addressed at the meeting on March 9, 2026.

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that a water main break occurred at the corner of Fortune/Dolbeau. There is a boil order issued for residents in the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Dieppe City Council adopted its 2026 operating budgets totalling $106.1 million at its public meeting on November 24. Of that amount, $89.6 million is allocated to the general operating budget and $16.6 million to the water and sewer operating budget.
