Black History Month
Every year, Black History Month gives us an opportunity to celebrate the heritage and numerous achievements of Afro-descendant Canadians and their communities.
It’s also a chance to strengthen ties and recommit to being a welcoming and inclusive community.

Here are some suggestions for activities presented by the City of Dieppe, in collaboration with the Association Initiatives Afro-Canadiennes du Nouveau Brunswick (AIAC-NB).

Following the raising of the Pan-African flag, join us for a meeting to network and exchange. Free coffee will be served, and a exhibition will be on site for the occasion.
Symposium on Black History Month in New Brunswick
February 1, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Free, registration required with AIAC-NB
Immerse yourself in the history and contributions of the Black community in New Brunswick, while discussing concrete actions to build a shared future. Discussion workshops, multicultural performances and more!
February 1 to 4 at 2 p.m., during City Hall opening hours.
