Welcome to Dieppe: Celebrating Welcoming Week

The City of Dieppe, in partnership with CAFi, is proud to celebrate Welcoming Week with its Welcome to Dieppe event on September 18, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall. The evening will feature meetings with elected officials, appetizers, community partners, a welcome ceremony, and more.

Getting young people interested in municipal management

At 4:30 p.m., young newcomers to Dieppe will have the opportunity to meet municipal officials and learn more about local democracy.

Welcoming new residents

At 5:30 p.m., newly settled families will be formally welcomed in a special ceremony with members of Council.

Open to all

“Welcoming is a two-way process that involves both those who are welcomed and those who do the welcoming,” explains Christian Camilleri, Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator for the City of Dieppe. “With this activity, we want to strengthen the ties that make Dieppe a dynamic and inclusive community,” he adds.
