Public consultation on outdoor fires

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is considering whether to change its bylaw on outdoor fires. Outdoor wood fires are currently banned between November 1 and the third Monday in April. Following a request from residents to allow wood fires year-round, the municipality wants to know what you think.

With the health measures in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more residents want to be able to have outdoor wood fires year-round. Before the municipality changes the bylaw that was passed in 2008, it wants to know what residents think.

Residents can participate until February 15 by completing a survey or sharing their comments with us at www.dialoguedieppe.ca
