  • Dieppe honours its volunteers at gala event

    As part of Volunteer Week, the City of Dieppe hosted its traditional Les Chalins Gala on Thursday evening to celebrate the invaluable contributions of individuals who, through their dedication, help make Dieppe a dynamic, welcoming, and supportive community.

    Inspired by the Acadian word for a flash of light that brightens the sky, the gala recognizes the vital role of volunteerism in our growing city and the positive impact that civic engagement has on residents’ quality of life.

  • Join the Organizing Committee for the Rendez-vous Acadie 50+ in Dieppe

    The City of Dieppe is proud to announce that it will be hosting the Rendez-vous Acadie 50+ in September 2026.

    To ensure the smooth running of this major event focused on sports, culture, wellness, and intergenerational activities, the municipality is looking for volunteers aged 50 and over to join the organizing committee.

  • Dieppe Proud to Host the 2026 Esso Cup

    At the Esso Cup 2025 in Lloydminster, Alberta, Hockey Canada announced that Canada’s Under-18 Women’s National Club Championship will be held at the UNIplex in Dieppe.

    From April 19 to 25, 2026, downtown Dieppe will come alive with the energy of women’s hockey as the Moncton Rockets, members of the Maritime Major Female Hockey League (MMFHL), welcome five regional champions to compete for the Esso Cup.

  • Reconstruction of a Section of Gauvin Road

    The City of Dieppe would like to inform residents that it will be undertaking the reconstruction of Gauvin Road, between Collège and Marché streets, starting Tuesday, April 22. During construction, which will continue until August, this section of Gauvin Road will be completely closed to traffic.

  • Annual flushing of the water distribution system

    The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that it will be flushing the water distribution system starting Monday, April 14, 2025. Indeed, spring-cleaning applies to water pipes, too, not just homes!

    Flushing cleans the inside of the pipes, removes accumulated sediment and maintains water quality.

  • Activation of pedestrian crossing - Dieppe Boulevard and Caleb Street

    The City of Dieppe wishes to advise pedestrians and motorists that the new pedestrian crossing with traffic lights, at the intersection of Dieppe Boulevard and Caleb Street, will be activated tomorrow afternoon, Friday, April 11, weather permitting.

    Reminder

    Pedestrian crossings equipped with traffic lights must be approached as an intersection: as long as the light is red, motorists must remain stopped, even after the pedestrian has crossed.
