    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is developing a bold plan to guide the future of its public transit service.

    Given Dieppe’s strong population growth over the past year and a new record for real estate construction, it is important to address the City’s transportation needs now, in order to support current growth and plan for future needs.

    On November 3, 2022, the municipality received a conditional use application from the property owner for the development of two multi-family dwellings (apartment building) on the property located at 452 Amirault Street, in accordance with Section 59 of the Community Planning Act.

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is proud to announce that its status as an Age-Friendly Community has been renewed by the New Brunswick Department of Social Development. The designation, obtained for the first time in 2018, is a testament to the municipality’s continued commitment to the well-being of its 50+ residents.

    DIEPPE, NB – As of January 1, 2023, the LSD of Greater Lakeburn and part of the LSD of Scoudouc is now part of the City of Dieppe, as a result of the provincial government’s local governance reform.

  • Dieppe Fire Department Mourns Death of One of its Own

    DIEPPE, NB — It is with great sadness that we announce the death of a member of the Dieppe Fire Department, Captain Rheal Leger, on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

    Captain Leger passed away from a work-related illness at the age of 57, after serving the Dieppe community for 39 years.

  • New Construction Record for the City of Dieppe in 2022

    DIEPPE - The dynamism that characterizes the City of Dieppe is alive and well, with real estate growth continuing in November and December and a new construction record for the municipality.

    Some 550 permits were awarded, for a total worth of more than $119.
