    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is proud to announce the return of the ImaginAIR Festival, which will take place at Dover Park from July 28 to 30, 2023. The three-day family event will offer a host of activities on the theme of kites.

  • Dieppe Honours its Volunteers at Les Chalins Gala

    DIEPPE, NB — Twenty-four enthusiastic and excited Dieppe volunteers, accompanied by family and friends, gathered at the Wingate Hotel last night for a celebration of their contributions to community life.

    The evening, inspired by the Acadian word, chalin, for a flash of warmth that lights up the sky, was held to recognize volunteerism, which is essential for the long-term well-being and commitment of volunteers and organizations and to ensure their continuity.

  • Change – Proposed tree bylaw

    DIEPPE, NB — For reasons beyond our control, the presentation of a draft bylaw regarding trees that was to be presented to city council at the public meeting of the council's Standing Committee on Public Strategies and Policies on Monday, April 17, has been postponed to Thursday, April 27 at 6 p.m.

  • Water distribution system flushing in the City of Dieppe

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that it will be flushing the water distribution system from April 17 to June 23. Spring cleaning applies to water pipes too, not just homes!

    Flushing cleans the inside of the pipes, removes accumulated sediment and improves water quality

    Flushing will continue on weekdays until completed.

  • Dieppe Community Clean-up is Back!

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is inviting residents to participate in an Earth Day community clean-up on Saturday, April 22. Take advantage of the activity to explore our parks and green spaces while also helping to beautify our environment.

  • Lane reduction on Champlain Street (April 13 and 14, 2023)

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions on Champlain Street, between Acadie Avenue and westbound municipal limits (towards Moncton), on Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to a later date.

  • Fireworks training exercice

    The City of Dieppe would like to inform its residents that fireworks will be deployed in the area of the MusiquART site on Thursday, April 13 in the afternoon.

    The deployment of the pyrotechnics will take place as part of a training exercise by the municipal Fire Department.

  • New Bus Benches Coming to Dieppe

    Roughly 30 new benches will be installed along the City of Dieppe’s public transit system over the next few years through a partnership with Creative Outdoor Advertising.

    The company will install the benches free of charge and sell advertising that will be displayed on the back of the benches to cover the purchase, installation and maintenance costs.

  • City of Dieppe disappointed with proposed changes to Official Languages Act

    DIEPPE, NB - The City of Dieppe is disappointed with the minimal changes being proposed to New Brunswick’s Official Languages Act, particularly the removal of the requirement to review the Act every 10 years.

    “One of the review’s objectives is to improve the Act by considering the recommendations of various groups in our society, and by working to achieve a substantive equality of both official languages.

  • The Tree for Life program launched in Dieppe

    DIEPPE, NB — The program “A Tree for Life,” that was first launched in 2016, aims at making Dieppe’s landscape greener and highlighting the birth of a child. The City of Dieppe is proud to recognize the arrival of a child into the world by offering its family—free of charge—a tree that will grow alongside the child over time.
