    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that sections of Beausoleil and Boishébert streets will be completely closed to traffic on Tuesday, May 9. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following day.

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe invites the public to complete a housing needs survey. The survey is part of a study being conducted by the municipality to update its statistics on the question so that it can take more effective measures.

  • Boil Order Lifted (May 5, 2023)

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the boil water order is lifted for all residents from 401 to 851 Dover Road, on Bayview Court, Ulysse Drive, André Drive, Telex Lane, Jocelyn Lane, Sophie Lane, Florida Drive and all residents of the Domaine Dover Estates.

    Here are the measures to take when a boil water order has been lifted:

    • Cold interior and exterior water faucets: Run tap water for 10 to 15 minutes.

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that a water main break occurred on Dover Road and crews are currently on site repairing the water main in question. In order to allow for the repair work, the water service will be temporarily shut off.

    The Moncton Census Metropolitan Area (CMA) broke records in 2022, achieving the highest population growth rate among all Canadian CMAs – not just for last year, but for the past 20.

    The high growth rate is almost entirely attributable to an increase in the number of immigrants and non-permanent residents arriving – and remaining – in the region.

  • Work at Rotary Park entrance

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that work at the Rotary St-Anselme Park entrance will begin on Monday, May 15, and end by early July. Vehicles will not be permitted on the access road to the park during this period due to the construction and to ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians.

  • Lane reduction on Champlain Street (May 1 to 5, 2023)

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions on Champlain Street, between Acadie Avenue and westbound municipal limits (towards Moncton), from Monday, May 1 to Friday, May 5.

    These lane reductions are necessary in order to allow for ground surveying work.

  • Dieppe Innovates with Tree Bylaw

    A presentation on the outline of a tree bylaw was made by City of Dieppe staff to City Council at the public meeting of the Standing Committee on Strategies and Public Policies held at City Hall on Thursday, April 27.

    The City of Dieppe has had a Tree Code since 2006, but it only covers trees on municipally owned land.

  • Dandelion Madness is back!

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is proud to announce the return of Dandelion Madness for a third consecutive year following the adoption of its pilot project.

    The idea behind this large-scale movement in Canada and around the world is to help pollinating insects, such as butterflies and bees.

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be a lane reduction on Centrale Street, between Damien and Norbert streets, from Monday, April 24 to Wednesday, April 26. In case on inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following day.
