    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that the Emmanuel Street closure, between Tower and Copp streets, will be extended to Monday, June 26 due to the inclement weather.

    This closure is necessary in order to allow for work on the water and sewer system as part of the reconstruction of Emmanuel Street project.

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe, in collaboration with the Groupe de recherche sur les archives et les femmes de l’Université de Moncton (GRAFA), is proposing an urban project that will showcase the contribution of local women to the community. The Women Trailblazers Bank project, or Toponymi’elle in French, aims to provide a list of trail names that pay tribute to Dieppe women who have distinguished themselves or worked.

    The City of Dieppe is looking for used inline skates and protective helmets to lend during the summer season at the concrete oval located at Place 1604.

    Do you have old skates or helmets that you would like to get rid of? Give them a second life by bringing them to one of the following facilities where you put them in a bin for this purpose.

  • Lane reduction – Dover Road

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Dover Road, between Lantech Drilling and Ulysse Drive, will be reduced to one lane of traffic on Wednesday, June 14. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to a later date.

  • Road closure – Emmanuel Street

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Emmanuel Street, between Tower and Copp streets, will be completely closed to traffic from Wednesday, June 14 to Wednesday, June 21.

    This closure is necessary in order to allow for work on the water and sewer system as part of the reconstruction of Emmanuel Street project.

  • Bear sighted in the municipality

    The municipality has been informed that a bear was sighted at multiple locations throughout the municipality.

    Black bears are generally shy and usually avoid humans, but they are opportunistic feeders, and will attempt to eat anything that looks, smells or tastes like food.

  • Movies under the stars at Place 1604

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is proud to announce that it’s bringing back outdoor movies on a giant inflatable screen at Place 1604 during the summer. A total of nine films will be shown starting at dusk.
