    DIEPPE, NB — As winter approaches, the City’s Operations Department is looking to name five of its snowplows. To do that, the municipality is launching its very first snowplow-naming contest.

  • Temporary closure of a section of the Riverfront Trail

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise the public that a section of the Riverfront Trail located between Louis Street and Virginia Avenue will be completely closed on Tuesday, October 3 and on Wednesday, October 4. In case of inclement weather, the closure will be postponed to the following day.

  • Dieppe Celebrates its Seniors

    DIEPPE, NB — In cooperation with the Dieppe seniors’ committee, the City of Dieppe is proud to launch a series of activities surrounding the International Day of Older Persons, which takes place on Sunday, Oct. 1.

  • Lane reductions on Champlain Street (September 29, 2023)

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions on Champlain Street, between Collège and Notre-Dame streets, on Friday, September 29.

    These lane reductions are necessary in order to allow for work related to the new buildings.

    Dieppe Permanently Installs Mi’kmaq Flag in Council Chambers

    DIEPPE, NB — It was with great honour and respect that the City of Dieppe unveiled the permanent installation of the Mi’kmaq flag in its council chambers at yesterday’s public meeting. The initiative follows a dialogue aimed at reconciliation undertaken with Mi’gmawe’l Tplu’taqnn Inc.

  • Lane reduction on Keith Road – September 25 to 29, 2023

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Keith Road, between Verte Street and Maurice Crescent, will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Monday, September 25 to Friday, September 29.

    This lane reduction is necessary in order to allow for some work on a culvert.

  • Road closure – Gauvin Road (September 23, 2023)

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Gauvin Road, between Marché Street and Acadie Avenue will be completely closed to traffic starting at 12:45 p.m.

  • Roadwork – Gaspé Street Closure

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Gaspé Street, between Évangéline and Canso streets will be completely closed to traffic on Wednesday, September 20. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following day.

  • Walking and cycling trails closed – Hurricane Lee

    The municipality is asking residents to avoid using walking and cycling trails until the storm has passed and crews can clear them from broken branches and fallen trees.
