    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to inform residents that the sidewalk along Acadie Avenue, between the Arts and Culture Centre and City Hall, will be closed from Monday, May 20 to Wednesday, May 22. In case of inclement weather, the closure will be postponed to a later date.

    Construction of a roundabout at the Lafrance/Gauvin intersection

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that it will proceed with the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Lafrance Street and Gauvin Road starting Tuesday, May 21. During the work, which will continue until October, lane reductions and complete closures are expected in the area.

    Chartersville Road Water Main Renewal

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that it will proceed with the Chartersville Road water main renewal project starting Tuesday, May 21. During the work, which will continue until August, Chartersville Road, between Gorveatte and Lorette streets, will be completely closed to traffic.

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Hartnett Street, between Englehart and Rufin streets, will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, May 15. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following day.

    DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe held a gala event on Wednesday, during National Volunteer Week, to recognize the contributions of the many volunteers who make Dieppe a great place to live, work and raise a family.

    The evening, named after the Acadian word, chalins, which means a flash of light that illuminates the sky, highlights the contribution of volunteerism to our growing community, and the positive effects of the commitment of community organizations and their volunteers on the quality of.

    The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that it will be flushing the water distribution system starting Monday, April 8, 2024.

    Flushing cleans the inside of the pipes, removes accumulated sediment and improves water quality.
