Winter session

Winter swimming classes will begin on January 21, 2023, for preschool (18 months to 4 years) and swimmer (5 to 13 years) levels. Adult classes will begin on January 24, 2023.

Canada Games 2022

Hearty congratulations to Noah Beausoleil, a lifeguard at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre and member of the Bleu et Or swim club (CNBO), on his participation in the Canada Games this summer! Here’s how he did:

• 50 m men’s butterfly: 7
• 100 m men’s butterfly: 9
• 4 x 200 m men’s freestyle relay: 6
• 4 x 100 m mixed freestyle relay: 9
• 4 x 100 m men’s freestyle relay: 7

The Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre wishes to inform its clients that the Canadian Red Cross is winding down its swim and lifeguarding programming to focus more on humanitarian demands in other areas, such as disaster and pandemic response, opioid harm reduction and caregiving for seniors.

The Canadian Red Cross is encouraging its water safety training partners to transition to Lifesaving Society Canada programs.

Private swimming lessons for all age groups

Private swimming lessons for youth ages 4 to 13 will be offered on June 4, 5, 18 and 19.

New! Private lessons for teenagers 14 and over, as well as adults, will be offered on June 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22.

Private swimming lessons will be available in May and June. If you do not have a profile number, which you need to register for a class, you will have to create a profile first at clic.

Please note that due to supply-related issues, we are no longer using salt to produce chlorine in the pools at the Aquatic and Sports Centre. Instead, we are using chlorine from calcium hypochlorite tablets.
