Dieppe is fortunate to be located near marshes, forests and the Petitcodiac River. The city is dedicated to protecting its natural heritage and to ensuring that development follows the principles of intelligent growth, reducing environmental impact, and improving the quality of life of residents.
A number of environmental initiatives have been implemented in Dieppe, such as the Tree Planting Program and A Tree for Life.
The municipality’s strategic plan includes becoming an ecologically responsible city as one of its main priorities.
