Pools

All accessory buildings, structures, and in- or above-ground pools or reservoirs built to retain water for the purpose of swimming (including inflatable swimming pools), with a capacity of at least 60.96 centimetres (24 inches) of water, must be enclosed by a fence, as per the zoning bylaw (article 3.23). A permit must also be obtained before the pool is installed or the fence built.
