Building Permits
Some construction and development projects require a permit from the City's Planning and Development Department. Here are some examples:
- construction work
- tree cutting
- expansion/additions
- change of usage
- relocation of buildings or structures
- demolition
- excavation or backfill work
- new electrical systems or changes to existing ones
- new patios or decks
- installation of signage
- new fences
- installation of pools with a capacity of more than 61 cm (24 in) of water
- new plumbing systems or changes to existing ones
